Hello my friends, I have discovered a website: www.moneygoodbye.org where you can sign up to abolish money.
I studied this site and found out that people are signing and more and more signatures are being added everyday.
When everyone keeps signing, we all will soon be able to throw away our money, as the website says.
Although I am rather sceptical if this will work out well, I am fully aware of the beneficial effects, which a moneyless society brings with it. Imagine living in a world without poverty. A world, in which mothers don't have to worry any longer how to feed their children, where there's no exploitation, no child prostitution, no trafficking of drugs nor persons.
Money is definitely not a good invention. One child starves to death; despite the fact we are living in an affluent society. No one can tell me that our monetary system works. Moreover, a lot of people don't know what to do with all their money.
I am not envious of someone's yacht or Ferrari but I believe that the basic needs of everyone have to be secured, first. Our present society proves that moneyless people do not have a right to exist. The world is home to each animal, so why do people not have the same rights?
The saying “money rules the world“, has been true for thousands of years, and still is. Until now we didn't have a choice but to cope with our situation. Fortunately, we can now do something about it. Now, we can actually decide against money and for humanity.
As I've have already mentioned before, I am not sure if saying goodbye to money will happen in a frictionless way. We will certainly have to face a couple of turbulent years. But it can't be worse than our current situation, which only a small part of people take advantage of. Lots of people dream of living without existential fears, in a free and decent way.
At the same time it would be a relief for rich people to be freed from their burden. This might sound a bit odd for the ones who do not belong to this group. Actually, the responsibility wealthy people have to bear, is a burden. Those people are well aware, that only they can make an end to the unequal distribution of property between rich and poor, to end poverty.
This constant moral conflict incessantly gnaws at their hearts and they secretly long for a solution. I believe that many of them secretly sign this initiative. No one is going to take away anything from them. So, what could be better? This clearly is no revolution, as the world has often experienced, when the powerful even became too powerful. It is an absolutely peaceful transition into a new economic system without profit.
Furthermore, one who watches the current world situation recognizes that it is only a question of time, until our financial system breaks down. History has already shown what we can expect then. I would be glad if we learn how to live without money. We still have a chance to manage the transition before the crash.
The more I think about this all, the more I realise what a great blessing that would be for all of us. I'm going to sign this list, because everyone who doesn’t automatically decides for the monetary system. Our current situation with all the pressure and stress, which even affects our children, is not satisfying. Our world has become a cold place.
The world will become a more peaceful and charming place if everyone contributes to our society voluntarily and without pressure. Doing an important service to others, will certainly open our hearts. I do believe in that and if you join us, it will become reality
