Attention:

The "Day of Freedom - Initiative" has expired.
We thank all of you who participated. You're brave pioneers on the
way into a new era.

As we've unfortunately not reached enough signatures for a referendum
we'll have to put up with the money system a little longer.

Your participation was still very important because it shows how far the
awareness in the population has advanced.

For the continuation of the petition, we ask you to also sign the
Free World Charter.
It also stands for a world without money.

The day of freedom

21st December 2012

For a life without money

First, we have to become aware that the introduction of money caused a lot of injustice, stress, and exploitation of the earth and mankind. We don't condemn this, it has been a necessary experience for us. However, we have now learned enough and are ready for a new beginning.

On 21 December 2012, a new era begins according to the Maya calendar. On that day we are all going to throw away our money. Everyone continues doing his/her work, farmers, bus drivers, nurses, artisans, radio announcers ..., but now we will be without stress and pressure as people are no longer paid.
The slogan "Time is money" will be of no meaning anymore! Shops will still offer their goods and services, but no one needs to pay. They are mere distribution centers.

In practice

If for example the faucet is dripping we call the plumber. He comes, repairs it and all he charges is a "please" and "thank you"!

All the people who work in financial administration need not to go to work anymore. They can take time off and think about how they can contribute to the wellbeing of their community.

We do not need cashiers, no banks, no insurances, and no tax consultants - as there are no more taxes. Nor do we need payroll accounting, health insurance companies, pension funds and accountants. Surprising what we can do without! There are hundreds of thousands of people who will be free do something really useful for their community.

There will be no tax and finance ministries, no more long state budget debates, and no discussions about family allowances, collective agreement negotiations and strikes. Families will benefit a lot, parents will be free to spend as much time with their children as they want. The best thing is: there will be no more financial crisis. No fear of national bankruptcy, or fear that pensions won't be paid one day.

Of course there will be no economic crisis, no more unemployment … instead we will enjoy full employment as there will always be enough work.
The problem lies in the unfair distribution of money.

What to do?

Does this sounds good to you?
Are curious what the transition from now to then looks like:

First, we need a really big movement - a democratic majority. That means talk to friends, link to this on social network sites, copy this information or print the text from the internet and distribute it.

Visit the website http://www.moneygoodbye.org, choose the country you live in and sign up to the list. The petition is essential for the success of this initiative.

You might ask: "who's going to work then?"
It would be a pity if we gave in to this fear and the whole initiative failed. Rich people in particular just can't imagine a life without money. We have to be prepared if the media spread fear and present the initiative as ridiculous and absurd.

Only if a lot of people sign up and confirm that they are mature enough to continue working without being paid can we refute these arguments. So every signature counts.

We still believe that it is our money that keeps us alive, however, in reality it is the work of many people. If we free ourselves from money we will understand that more clearly. Mankind will achieve a great change in consciousness - from being ego driven to being community focussed.

The legal situation

To guarantee that all this runs in an official way, we will hold a referendum as soon as enough people have signed up. The referendum will be counted on 21st December 2012. This is necessary to avoid speculation.

Time is short!

We started this initiative two years before the actual change because we need time to reach as many countries of the world as possible. We are looking for people who are able to translate this text into their native language and then mail it to us so that we can put it online. Maybe you are one of them?

A smooth transition is only guaranteed if the change takes place on the same day all over the world.

Of course it would be possible to do this in only a few countries, as every country has its own closed financial system. So the exchange of goods with foreign countries would still need a clearing system. In tourism, the old money tradition would have to be kept during the transition period.

Please don't hesitate, sign up now and motivate others to join us.

Imagine...

No one clears forests for short term profit, no one overfishes the oceans. There is no profit without money. The argument that "the protection of the environment is too expensive" will not be valid anymore. Everything will be produced in harmony with mother earth. Organic food, electric cars, organic plastics, natural colors...

Fantastic prospects

We use a lot of energy worrying about money. From early childhood we are so focused on money and on earning money that we can't imagine a life in freedom. This is a shame as there is so much more that can enrich our lives.

In addition to that we’ll have to work less as we won't have to pay financial administration. What a great side effect!
